Thank you for your interest in volunteering to coach. Pennsylvania State Law requires volunteers working with children to complete the below clearances.

Please email the clearances to baseball@cwybsa.org for baseball, or softball@cwybsa.org for softball, prior to the first practice. If you already have these clearances and they are current, please send a copy of that, you do not need to reapply.

Mandatory background checks for all volunteers

Just a reminder ALL volunteers (paid and unpaid) including coaches and board members need the following clearances.

• PA State Police (PSP) Criminal History Check: epatch.pa.gov/home
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance: compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home
• DHS FBI Clearance: identogo.com or download and sign the waiver if you have lived in PA for 10 years: Disclosure Statement for Volunteers (PA DHS)

1. Enter your zip code into the box labeled Find the nearest IdentoGO center.
2. Select the location most convenient to you.
3. Click Schedule an Appointment located in the blue box on the right-hand side of the page. An appointment is not required but is recommended.
4. Click on Digital Fingerprinting on the lower left side of the page.
5. Enter the code: 1KG6ZJ (this is for volunteers)
6. Follow the remaining prompts to complete the scheduling and payment.
